Stress Treatment - Is it safe?

Chronic stress is highly popular today. I don’t think that many rational people actually seek to become stressed unless they’ve got a few screws lose or something.

Much of the time we do things that bring stress onto ourselves. Let me explain a bit here. Whenever you volunteer for additional duties and assignments at work, just to make a name for yourself or to develop keen insights into what is required to make the next step up, you are volunteering for additional stress.

If you are in the sales profession and want to move up, there are of course requirements in order to do so. Naturally, if you hope to become a district manager you have to have demonstrated your sales ability. The best and most distinguishing tool for this test is to get out there and sell, sell, SELL! Nothing else will speak louder about you than RESULTS.

Now just think about that for a moment. Isn’t this really why you want or need to reduce your stress, because you want results. This is really all that matters at the end of the day. When you art tucking you children into bed they want the results of you attention. That little peace of time that for you is so tough to give. Why, not because you don’t love them. Heck, you prove that every time you go to work. That is real love.

Stress is happening to you when you drop them off at the daycare center and scurry into the office. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have their mother look after their children as we were for a time.

The greatest stress tip that you should listen and apply right now is learning to express yourself. Whether it is verbal or in writing. You should not keep your emotions and frustrations all bottled up tightly inside. This has proven to cause ulcers, migraine headaches, tension and muscle problems just to name a few.

Do you know what keeps you up at night? It is normally something that you cannot control. This stress is serious because the body does not get a chance to switch off. To recharge, renew or become rejuvenated.

What you can do is decide to set aside some time before you go to bed. I used to work on my computer all the way up to the time i went to sleep. This is not wise, because as we’ve said before your body needs that time to just shut down and disengage with stimuli. So, insert perhaps, 10 to 20 minutes of just relaxing before you actually get in bed to rest.
